Acoustic experimental black metal/ solo grind violinist Joey Molinaro’s “stomping and ferocious playing is inescapable,” (Foxy Digitalis).

Track Name: Kayla
Kayla, child of slave traders,
shaves her hair, makes a bow and arrows.

Displaced to the barrio,
her wealth makes her a pariah!

And looking at a conquered people,
feigns laughter at the nihilistic fashion
of a pastel sequined feline,
and loads a grenade

Crime, recoiled fists, survival…

She retires to the countryside;
Noone wants her!
She remembers her bow and arrows!
Track Name: The Answer
A mind's insight
like a film noir private eye
derives our crime
from the litter of the mayor.

We cannot embrace this reality.

The truth, our sleuth,
found what everyone avoided:
a crime so dark
he dropped the case and shot himself in the head.

Our times, our worlds,
vibrate with a nauseating twitch.
With faith, with dope,
and post-modernism we are blind.

We cannot embrace this reality.

To know and taste
the bile of our wretched now
is to reframe
our situation as dire.

A conquestor approaches.
destroyer of nations.
After all this time,
the child's chaotic loathing
and raging hatred
is unchanged even though
when the warrior approaches
he prostrates on the road.

A child comes of age.

She winces, doubles over
choking.
She pleads:
"I pray,
I beseech thee!"

Her hands wring tight,
her wet skin swells,
her body aches,
her eyes twitch.
She begs aloud:
"I must know!"

She yanks at her clothes,
and tears at her
hair and face the same way.
She screams:
"I implore you,
answer my question!"

Ears ringing like cicadas,
chest heaving yet unable to breathe,
spine and shoulder blades fused,
vomit burns her throat,
she whispers
her desperate inquiry:
"Will it always be like this?"

Her father's gaze
meets hers.
He inhales
quietly:

"Yes."
Track Name: Simon the Vain
Simon the Vain dwells
alone in the woods.

Simon speaks aloud:
"My fruit grove provides for me,
but I desire more iron tools,
fine cloth, shiny jewels."

"To raise the value of my yield,
I will set fire to the sylvan wild!"
Track Name: The Immolationary and the Little Hedgehog, Lost in the Fog
THE IMMOLATIONARY

Your message arrives,
saying only it is the last.
I am alone. The winter
of survival lies before me.

The same Winter that seduced
many millions before me.
Whiskey, canines, fire keep us
alive, as long as we will it.

I wonder which of the
myriad of bridges
rises highest over
the icy waters.

I do not hate myself,
I relate to the loathing
of those I'm bound to.
Track Name: The Flying Dream
In the wet grass
of your subconscious mind:

The whipping gale of
incalculable time
deafens you.

Face to windward.
Leap and
sustain your elevation
like a kite.

Soar over the landscape.

No shame,
no fear,
no want.

Awaken from the flying dream.
Embrace the terrifying euphoria!
Track Name: I See My Lover, She
I see my lover.
Her iridescent
layers
enshroud her,
so fragile and so,
so delicate
she can't but sway in the wind.

I reach through her robe
and pluck from her waist
two veils
of silken thread
releasing
her perspiration
and tongues of fire
from her deepest root.

Her naval and chest:
I open and breathe
upon
the golden
tissues of thin
veils of maya.
They drip down like wax

Her throat
elongates
and makes music
her eyes widen
every dream is now revealed!

A fragrance is shared
from heaven so near.
Her brow, a fountain.
Her hair is the tree of wisdom.

The final: nirvana surrounds us!

SHE:

The nineteenth slave
swayed and posed then
removed from her
waist the loincloth,
then threw to flames
each one higher,
in her hair the last!

Near the king's weapon,
she untied his belt.
Fashened by his heart,
she untied his cape.
The last one; she loosened
his leather crown.
Now exposed she
mounted the throne.

Radiant as many brilliant suns.
Four beautiful eyes,
fierce teeth.
Three bright red eyes,
face exquisite as the moon.
Draped in antelope skin,
adorned with ornaments.

In one right hand:
the skull staff of death,
opposite the nectar
of immortality.

In one right hand:
the sword of divine truth,
opposite a trident,
remover of pain!

O vishnu, controller of illusion,
O shakti, divider of oneness…

Track Name: Constant Autumn
Silent youth, now I hear your voice
rise like fire. Shout like an earthquake!
